I remember when Emily called me and told me that they had visited a BAPTIST church. It was almost heresy. I had been to a Baptist church before... I seriously wondered if Dan and Emily would get fed there. Even though many of my fears were put to rest when she would call and tell me about the church and the family they found there, I must admit that I was still floored when Johnny and I visited... Floored, but blessed. I never realized that "Baptist" and "spirit-filled" could describe the same thing. Sounded more like an oxy-moron to me. I am so glad that they found such a wonderful church home with plenty of food, both spiritual and physical.
God tends to work in those funny ways so much in life. And you know, God’s way always turns out better…
