go here. There are others if you want (free and online). You'll need an account name, email address, and password. For example, I signed Emily up (hahaha you have always been the my rough draft):
name: Emily & Dan Waasdorp
email: newlywaaz@hotmail.com
password: (the password I always use when setting anything up for you, duh)
Almost instantly you are granted an album. Now press "add photos". You'll see a page with a "new" album. Name it. Later you will be able to add pictures to this album, or name another new one. I named Emily's album "Emily old pictures" (I am nothing if not creative).
You'll be switched to an upload page. You can upload up to 10 pictures. Just try one the first time. Press browse. You'll get a popup window that you have to guide to the picture on your hard drive that you want to upload. When you get to it, double click. It will show up in the box on the upload page. Press next. You'll start the upload process. When the picture is in the album, you'll get a page with your new album on it. Press "view album". Your picture(s) will appear. Note the interesting things you can do to edit them, or arrange them better, in the sidebar. Click the picture to enlarge it. Now this is a little bit tricky. On a Mac, I open a menu by clicking and holding down on the mouse, on the picture. Not sure what you do on a PC. Left click, right click, cha cha cha? In any case, you want a menu that gives you the option of "copy image location". The link will look something like "http://images.kodakgallery.com/photos1162/9/45/9/35/59/0/59350945906_0_ALB.jpg"
Now, decide what you want to do with that info. If you are composing a blog post later, just paste the link on your notepad. If you are composing a post right now, and are ready to insert the picture, paste this in: img src="" with a < in front and > after. I couldn't write this better because the computer wants to make it into real html. Then put the link between the "" :

You may not need the last paragraph of info, because more recent browsers make things easier. But learning a bit of html never hurt anyone (much).
At least set up the album. We can go from there.
Off to celebrate cowboy day. (what? you didn't know it was cowboy day??)

you know that with a new account comes free pics... I was waiting to sign myself up until I had time to choose which wedding pics I wanted. Hope the offer doesn't expire before I get back.
