all this for $3.50. Title inspiration from this book (turns out my family isn't the only one with the disease)
quilt not included...it's one I pieced and Granny quilted years ago =)
and for those of you that are, shall we say, less than interested in thrifty goodness, here's what we ate for dinner a few nights ago. Steak kabobs with crostini (basically, you top french bread slices with market fresh ingredients--I used olive oil, provolone, diced cherry tomatoes and onions, minced garlic--s & p, and fresh chopped herbs from the garden. 350 degrees for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and everything looks just a bit crispy).

What blasphemy is this?? "for those of you that are, shall we say, less than interested in thrifty goodness. . ."
I demand to know who is less than interested. And, if you come from France, that would certainly be bonus info.
yeah, really! who wouldn't be interested in a bargain find like that??? what a scary world....
and your crostini looks yummy!
that food picture is looking really good. I wonder if you could bring important ingredients home with you. . .
fresh olive oil is on my list...can't mail it, but I think it is ok in a suitcase.
