in 'n' out

My new theory: for every item that comes in that is not absolutely necessary, one must go out. I know it's supposed to be one in, two out, but I'm not that cluttered yet.

In: new (to me) size 12 m t-shirt, two "pepper" brand leather baby shoes with velcro straps size 4 or so, and one pair of suede (I think) dressy shoes for me. Total: $3.

Out: two "Max" books and one Sandra Boynton book, going to the pregnant girl whose husband works with waaz, a keyboard that I don't recall acquiring, and a pair of shoes that make me feel like Cinderella's stepsister: no matter how I cram them, they still don't fit. OH, and a votive candle holder. I have to scrub out the rust first though, lol. It's purple glass, the rust is from something else.

And this is why the coffee table is permanantly glued to the side of the couch:

a. hurry up and give him what he wants so he doesn't end up with a flat face. Or, is this a case of "I've fallen and I can't get up!" ?
b. put away all the leather shoes AND WOOL SOCKS before that pup comes to live with you.
c. I love those shoes. Please find them in size 8.
d. You're giving away Max??? Do you know I've quoted him just this week? ("apple, Max, say apple," said Ruby. "Delicious!" said Max)
e. Is that your couch?
f. Told you that kid was going to be bald :) Good thing he had a reasonable birth.

a. he woke up and scooched and wants to reach the watch
b. putting away everything that isn't bolted down.
c. which ones?
d. I have doubles of those three, so I'm keeping the nicer ones and giving away the chewed ones. is that terrible?
e. yeah, courtesy of erin courtesy of a flooded katrina house. it's quite soft and tannish and a bit bigger than the loveseat that was our couch for two years.
f. he's got hair. it's just a lot more sparse than when he was born and quite blonde. His head is rather lumpy though, which is interesting, considering.

I wish all the parents I had to deal with were smart enough to put the coffee table up against the couch!

c. the baby ones. they look comfortable.
d. yes (but worse would be giving the good ones). oh, and put away the books too. pretty sure those teeth marks are from a certain dog who shall remain named: Hendee. Bad Dog.
e. looks sage-ish to me, like the longies. Are they tan also?
f. perhaps his head is growing and so his hair isn't so much sparse as it is farther apart? still, though, no need for me to send hair scissors yet.

it does look kinda green under some lights, but I think the consensus is brown. the pants are a very gorgeous and oh so soft green (see the pic in the post below with him in the same pants outside)
baby shoes are real leather and were .50 a pair.
he's got enough hair to get bed-head in the back, which is highly amusing to me. I think it'll be awhile before he needs a haircut, despite what a certain xy said when the babe was only a few days old (oh the horror).

Trust me, you DON'T want to be XXX. genetically that is. What you do in your spare time is totally up to you. Poor Nate. Or is that, lucky nate? heeheee. :)
