so I had my dr.'s office's answering service page the on-call doctor last night. Turns out it was my doc, Dr. J. What fun :) After explaining that I'd had contractions appx. every 20 minutes for a couple of hours, every 10 for awhile, every 5 for an hour, and then every 3 for an hour, he said "oh really?!" and actually managed to sound excited about it, even at 1:30 in the morning. I continue to be impressed.
We decided that since they were not painful at all that my plan of letting us all try and get some sleep was a good one, so that's just what we did.
as of this morning, they were about every 5 minutes for an hour, after which I decided to go to sleep again. Currently, they're about every 3 minutes and a tad crampy every now and then, but nothing I'd write home about. I might blog home a bit though. Will keep you posted.
still thinking about staying away another week or so, mom?

oooh!! better solidify that name sugar!
Hmmm. How interesting. Next time your doc examines you (if it's at the clinic) ask him what "station" the baby is at. And the repeat details of dilation and effacement would fascinate me as well. Can't wait to see the finished product! ;)
Hi, you posted a comment on our blog months ago and I kept wanting to visit yours, but kept forgetting.
I hope your labor and delivery go smoothly! We'll be praying for you and your little boy.
