gummie bears, dark chocolate, and dilly bread

The time has come.

The time is now.

Just go. Go. Go!

I don't care how.
Emily J. Waasdorp,

will you

please go now!

The time had come.

SO ...

Emily WENT!

The car is packed, and (quite miraculously) the only things I couldn't fit were my long-coveted dutch oven and dan's little cd player that he got from lil B. a couple of christmases ago. Hmm, guess someone's just going to have to come visit. Anywho, Tim and I are leaving New York at 3:00 a.m. tomorrow. I will be setting about three different alarm clocks. If we can actually get ahold of our atlanta cousin, we'll be stopping in there for a night, and continuing on in the morning. If not, we'll take a more direct route, and I'll be able to show my not-so-little brother some of my favorite gas stations in Ohio. The title of this post refers to what is in my "trip treats" cooler. Later I will be adding iced tea, grape juice, apples, and perhaps some yogurt. Cheese would be nice too...

If we skip atlanta, this is sort of what our route will look like:

prayers for safety and ease of apartment renting/unpacking would be appreciated! Tim's going to stay for a week, and fly back next Mon. SUPPOSEDLY, dan will be leaving the island around the second week of September. We'll see.
