Lord willing we will see them all (and all our other buddies that I don't happen to have pics of!) again, but I don't know if that will be enough to comfort my boy once he realizes the permanence of this separation. gulp.

awww how adorable poor little guy
'Tis a hard thing for such a small one to learn... :/ Starting to learn about "friends for a season/friends for life" so young... However, chin up, mommy.... You guys won't be bouncing place to place to place now, so he won't have to deal with this permanent separation over and over. I think living close to your parents and having access to lots of little preschool people will be good. And of course there will be plenty of doting from the cousins. ;)
Be comforted in that kids are VERY resilient-much more so than adults. He'll adjust.
