(H=husband, W=wife in case you're having a brain fart kind of day)
So we needed dog food. And I got dog food, but did not deem it picture worthy. It's not my fault if I just happened to pass the thrift shop while they were open. Furthermore, I have no idea how a blank check got into my pocket. None at all. But since it was there, and I was there, how could I resist??

for a grand total of $12, may I present three 18 month shirts, one 9 m. shirt, three mommy-sized shirts, a white baby girl sunhat for my mother to tie-dye, a ribbon belt and a knitted belt for my sis (shh don't tell), a genuine first aid bag, upteen books for my niece and nephew (shh don't tell) and EP, a queen-sized sheet set to be used for fabric, a few yards of red flannel for a new wrap, a tot-sized wooden bat, a little tikes wooden racecar, a picture frame with mat, a Mikasa oven safe serving plate, a little green vase, and a corduroy jacket, missing one button. Anyone want to hook me up? (sorry, not full length shot of the coat, which was SO worth the whole $3 pricetag)

OH and may I also present the "look, I'm smiling, can we go inside now?" face WITH a bonus shot of the first two teeth that have given us almost no grief whatsoever.

A true Prov. 31 woman!and a baby that's not only "budding" teeth but baseball talent as well.
what size jacket (kid or adult)? what size buttons? how many buttons if you were replacing them all? can you "steal" a button from the sleeve or anywhere so they match, then get a couple of new sleeve buttons?
Carolyn wants to know if you got the baby toothbrushes she donated?
you should plant some peppermint by that fence so that when putz chews on plants it will freshen her breath. in case that's a problem.
I got the baby toothbrushes and actually need to relocate them.
there is mint growing on base in several locations and I intend to "borrow" some if I can ever remember to bring a bag.
adult. buttons are almost 3/4" diameter. there are three buttons on each sleeve, so I suppose I could take one from each sleeve and have an extra. replacing them all would be a lot of buttons since it's a peacoat. (Which leads me to the next idea which is to take one of the inside buttons and move it outside and then put something else inside. hmm, that might work)
YOU GO GIRL!!! way to bargain hunt!!
and EP is getting so big!!!
and yeah, love the button swapping idea...I'd probably go the sleeve route and have an extra on hand....but that would require knowing where the spare is should you need it again....hmm....
NICE haul. sorry, don't have a button to help you out though. bummer.
this is so obvious but just in case - you did check inside the jacket for an extra button, right? that's where the manufacturer would have put one in the first place. I love it when I find one there:)
no such luck.
