Merry Christmas to me!!

So I got my last Christmas present in the mail the other day.....

Only two days late but well worth the wait.

notice there is no "made in mexico" stamp on the headstock. This one is all American, don't ask me what I paid. (I suppose you could if you really want to)

Oh and this has nothing to do with Christmas, but I passed this guy on 417 yesterday. That's a Ferrari 360 Modena, for those of you who don't keep up on high-end vehicles. You probably don't want to ask him what he paid for it either, because that will totally make you sick, but I can say that your house was probably cheaper. And I passed him in my Nissan ($4k woohoo!!) On a side note I would like you all to know that I am in no way claiming that I raced and beat this guy, if he wasn't poking along at 30 mph, trying to dodge potholes so as not to bend up his rims he would have eaten me alive. His car did cost him six figures after all.

someone who has very thin tires on very big rims on a very low car who doesn't want to lose said vehicle in the very deep potholes that appear every time it rains around here. And he wasn't going 30, more like 55. It's just that waaz happened to be going a bit faster than that. So fast, in fact*, that when I attempted to take a picture of us passing the candy apple per his request, all I got was the very tip of the front bumper. Hey, at least I tried.

*probably about 65.

Niiice guitar! I had to wait for one of my presents, too ... heavy-duty doggy seat cover for the back of the Olds so Oscar can ride. He misses his truck. Nice try, mira, for the car pic. I'd like to have seen the look on the driver's face as the "Yankee tourists" passed him (not to mention getting to see the rest of the car). So the potholes grow every time it rains ... do they ever fix them or what?

yeah, when we first got here they repaved one big chunk of 417, but the first big rain we get all of the potholes are back. It doesn't help that they build the roads out of lava rock...
