I have been spray painting lids this year. Martha also has a tute about fabric covered lids (glued). Do you have a glue gun? easier and not so smelly/toxic. Carolyn had a plastic pop bottle toy her parents made that lasted a long time. Do you remember it? Nothing was glued down except the lid was super glued.
